The JVC Personal RomMaker for the SPARC(R) station is a comprehensivesofware and hardware subsystem that allows end-users to easily test andproduce small quantities of CD-ROMs on the Sun(TM) or Solaris(R)operating system. It targets a wide range of end-users as it offerssimple Motif or OpenWindows(TM) user interface and multiple speedrecording. Some end-users may include integrators working in thedocument imaging, computer-based training and electronic publishingarena.Some features of the RomMaker include multiple file system supportemulation utilities. In addition to the native UNIX file system, theRomMaker software is also capable of producing ISO 9660 compliant CD-ROMsthat can be read on any UNIX workstation, IBM PC and/or Apple Macintoshsystem.
